Accessibility

These are commitments the product is built against, not aspirations — every screen we ship is checked against this list before it goes out.

Tap targets

Every interactive element — buttons, links, switches, even a small “remove” control — is at least 44×44 pixels, including on the map.

Text size and contrast

Body text is never smaller than 15.5px. Every colour pairing meets WCAG AA contrast, in both light and dark mode — checked automatically, not eyeballed.

Colour is never the only signal

Anywhere a state matters — happening now, taken down, private — it’s shown with a difference in shape, outline or icon as well as colour, so it still reads for a colour-blind visitor.

Reduced motion

If your device is set to reduce motion, Zoca skips animations entirely rather than making them shorter. The map’s pin animations, the swipe deck, and every scroll-reveal respect this.

Keyboard and screen readers

The site is built to work with a keyboard alone and with a screen reader. If you find a place where it doesn’t, tell us — we treat that as a bug, not a feature request.
