About Zoca
Zoca is a map of what’s happening near you — free things, ticketed things, and the small plans your friends are already making — and a way for a group to decide together instead of letting a plan die in a group chat.
Los Angeles, at launch. We open a new city once there is enough happening in it to be worth opening, not before.
Browsing needs no account
Opening the map and reading an event work without signing up for anything. An account is for posting your own event, buying a ticket, or voting in a poll — polls go to a specific list of people, so casting a vote means signing in.
Posting is free, always
Listing an event costs nothing, whether it’s free or ticketed. Zoca never takes a percentage. On a ticketed event the guest pays a flat $1 on top of the price you set, and you receive the full amount, less your payment processor’s standard card fee.
Following an organiser
You can tap the bell on a listing to hear when that organiser posts again. It’s a private notification setting, not a public count — nobody, including the organiser, sees how many people are following them.
